We are haute couture seamstresses who seek and support a true responsible fashion ... But most importantly we are women: business women, resilient women, entrepreneurs and we have found our space in an industrialized and globalized world "

PIXAN: A Different Approach in Procedures
Our project has been established on a business model, built on the knowledge of our founders, collaborators enriched with the participation of our partners. This has allowed us to produce premium textiles thanks to procedures
1. Enriched training through AMA's methodology
A hard road of more than 6 years of training has accompanied our partners, administrative team and stakeholders. We receive constant feedback on basic techniques of weaving, color combination, natural dyeing, costing processes, production chains among others. In each of these it is vital the presence of our organizational methodology based on our behavioral health, which differentiates us from industrial models applied to artisanal fabric production common in Guatemala..
2. Feedback and control: without exploitation or harassment
We believe that premium products require structured processes that allow a constant monitoring of their quality. We implement monitoring processes that allow our members and partners an active participation, as well as a guide and follow-up. Also, we keep a constant follow-up and advising to our commercial allies exchanging knowledge that allows them the desired design while taking care of the social commitment of the products that they acquire. All our procedures follow our organizational commitment ensuring non-exploitation or harassment and also guarantee the economic compensation established by our members.
4. Textile orientation and appropriate follow-up
The mathematical adaptation and appropriate orientation is a vital task to truly give life to the ideas of our allies. This is a task that requires experience and a deep knowledge in the Mayan textile sector. A process worthy of admiration that happens only in the heads of our specialists, thanks to their context and expertice. This orientation allows our partners, in their own language, to know the specific features of each one of our allies.; In addition, solving doubts and anticipating challenges. Without this orientation, our premium textiles would not be possible.
Premium products goes beyond an understanding of our allies... it's assuring the understanding of the ideas of our allies by our partners our most important task, and the procedure that makes us different
4. High quality raw materials
Millennial techniques are worthy of high quality raw materials to ensure their durability. We use 100% cotton threads, resistant, mantaining firm colors - without bleaching. Those are up to the technique of our partners. We have estimated the durability of our textiles in 10 years.
5. Advisory and international commercial management
The products of our project are commercialized mostly outside of Guatemala. This requires specialists to advise and manage logistics and international business processes. From their first contact, our allies are advised on these issues having the opportunity of an experience of learning, exchange while maintaining a true social commitment in favor of the resilience of our communities.
